Interactive Arts Graduate Colin O’Toole’s @BAFTA success

Writer / Director Colin O’Toole was awarded a BAFTA for his semi autobiographical film COWBOY DAVE in the Best British Short Film category.

Colin studied on the Art Foundation Course at Manchester School of Art and then joined Interactive Arts, graduating in 2000.  His varied career has seen him produce TV Commercials and content for major brands,  direct music videos for artists such as Tricky , Ian Brown and Deadmaus. He has directed documentary shorts for Channel 4 and films for Tate featuring prominent artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Mona Hatoum, David Hockney and another Manchester School of Art graduate Martin Parr.

COWBOY DAVE made with Jonas Mortensen , stars Steve Evets (Looking for Eric) Sam Spruell (Snow White & The Huntsman, Starred Up) and Christine Bottomley (The Arbor, Vera Drake).
